And maybe I am set in my ways, when it comes to certain things.
I kept both of these things in mind when choosing the March EOM.
There were a bunch of great candidates, from the heavy-milkers to the determined-mousers, but one in particular got me thinking.
The March Employee of the Month is....
Scratches!!
Son of Mildred, brother to Jasper, and raised in the feed room, Scratches has been there and done that.
Scratches sets himself apart not only by his green eyes, but by his spunk.
He is always pushing the envelope.
When its feed time, he positions himself on the supply shelf in the feed room and waits there on his own milk, rather than fight over the container with the others.
Scratches is an individual.
He has also gotten into the habit of wandering out to the calf hutches and allowing the first calf to give him a bath.
He's a people person, breaking the ties that bind.
Scratches sees beyond species.
Always the inventive type, Scratches uses his resources to make every day actions easier.
